I got a Wacom tablet for Christmas -- is anyone using one or is familiar with them.
Thanks to things I have learned on Lilbro and encouragement and support from friends -- I was brave enough to do the install myself -- easy for most -- new to me -- it was easy -- yet intimidating since it is totally new to me.
Today I will load the software that came with it -- I am going to try that on my own too. It has some VERY interesting things.
Adobe Photoshop Elemnts 3 ( like I ever learned to use my Photoshop program :( )
Corel Painter Essentials 2
Evernote Plus 1
JustWrite "Office 4.1"
nik Color Elex Pro 2 GE
If anyone has anything to offer --- all help is appreciate.
I am going to try out Sketch Book Pro --- it is supposed to work very well with the Wacom Tablet -- I guess I am about to find out.

I have spent a lot of time today learning --- my brain is tired ! I do have all the
software installed ( by myself ) and I wrote my first handwritten note on WT !
A little tricky -- but I will get better --- tomorrow I will try the Corel Paint program -- I have done enough thinking for today :)

Yes --- when I figure it out --- and learn to control it -- I intend to use it for digital photos and for CRAFTS -- designing clay pieces and stuff --- well --- judging from the first note I wrote that will be awhile !
Beau is probably laughing -- he knows how slow I am at this --- no natural ability at all -- just determined. I did finally give up on Photoshop though :(
If I ever get anything to work --- I will send you a sample JJ.
Be prepared Beau --- I feel questions coming on and I have my journal out.

I'm not laughing! I've actually never tried a Wacom Tablet so I really don't know much about them. I've heard good things though!

I think I am going to like it --- but it is surely different --- I am fascinated however and intend to read as many tutorials as I can take in today --- it depends on how much time I have --- I think it is going to be a very busy day !
I may print some of them out --- I might do better that way. This topic may get busy --- questions for the expert and all.

Yes, it does sound like fun indeed! I wouldn't mind *cough* trying my hand at that sometime.

Oh please -- I would like nothing better than to see what the thing can do --- and to have my journal handy ! I will look forward to it and start my list of questions :) I have been playing around with the Paint program that came with it -- that and practicing writing -- it is so strange to write on the tablet and then see it on the screen --- I am very awkward with it -- I thought it would be easy to just write on it. I am getting better though. You can read it -- it looks sort of like I wrote it with my left hand or something.
