I read it a long time ago -- I do not remember much, I think I liked it, but my taste have changed a great deal. I remember it as a bit strange. I don't remember enough to offer a valid opinion.

Well, remember The Giver Lynn? that was sort of strange, but a good book :) You did like it right? I don't remember exactly :P

So Kara --- Do you still recommend the series ? Interesting is an interesting evaluation.

The Giver was strange -- it made some good points --- but as I said before -- it did not seem original --- I had read the same sort of thing in a book a long time ago. I thought the end was weak. I read it straight through --- a very short book.

Oh, yes. It did have sort of a weak ending : I thought it was weird, but interesting. I think it was supposed to impy something but I don't know what :(

Yes, actually. It's an interesting read about humanity, and it's struggle in intergalactic travel, and alien race struggles, and things that had been happening for thousands of years without human's knowledge.
