I like to look up words -- especially in a REAL dictionary -- we also have a collection of them --- however -- Logan I would like something such as you have. I would like to know how to set something like that up.

JJ it just seems to me that the meaning is more clearly understood and
possibly -- more likely to be remembered -- and besides --- the person giving you the definition could be wrong !

Okay, what I have is called "WordWeb" you can do a google search and find it I'm sure. It's free and then it sits in your task bar (very, very handy). I have it set up so I can highlight a word and then press ctrl + = and it will show me the definition. It's very easy to install but if you need assistance then let me know.

I use dictionary.com :) I have it in my favorites lsit(I think) and I always keep that list on my internet page when I bring it up.

BUt I suppose what you have Logan is probably much better and more efficient :)

:)

HOw do you guys imagine Galbatorix? Or Eragon or any of the chracters really?

:) Just curious, and since this is the inheritance trilogy topic, it seemed only reasonabler to ask an Eragon related question :) We do get off hand on topics so easily :)

Sorry JJ -- we did wander a bit-- but words -- their meaning and correct spelling seems to fit a little bit -- in a literature topic.

I just don't really have much left to say about Eragon, that we haven't already discussed. Even though it is a trilogy -- we do still only have 2 books to talk about and I didn't care nearly so much for Eldest.

I will be interested in what the rest of you have to say.

Yeah, Eldest wasn't half as good as Eragon :) It did have some odd things in it : It's downheartening. I hope he does not continue with that in his third book, because that would certainly want me to not read anything else of his in the future.

I don't mind getting of topic, I'm sometimes the one that leads into that :P I just didn't ahve anything else to say in the topic of dictionaries and words, so I decided to get back on topic :)

Chris does a fairly good job of describing his characters. Eragon is described in the second chapter of Eragon, Brom, Roran, and Saphira are all described fairly soon after they appear. Galbotorix is pretty much the only one left to wonder about. I think he looks something like John Malkovich. Hehehehehe, um, okay little joke (look up the cast for the upcoming movie) I think that he resembles that nameless, shadowy character that shows up in nightmares after you ate some chili right before bed. Except instead of the chili monster, he has a dragon 3 times the size of Saphira that is so black it seems that you are looking into a void in space when it is close to you.

Did I ever tell you that you're strange? :P J/K

Ummm..... See when i heard that John Malkovich was playing Glaby I tought it was strnage because that's not how I imagined him at all. Have you seen pics of the movie poster? It looks srange. And Durza looks jsut plain..... I don't know... creepy, weird, freaky, pick one but they all explain it pretty well. :

I reccomend that no one feeds Panther any chili ;)
