Me too, I did enjoy this issue, however it seems to me they are much smaller than they used to be. This one covered 3 games I am really interested in.

Reviews are so helpfully, when someone such as yourself has played a game, that is the sort of thing that can help me decide if I am borderline. I have always used the NP reviews as well. Games are so expensive -- it pays to gather all the information you can.

Sonic I have definitely decided to wait on. I may eventually get it when the price drops. I am absolutely getting Super Paper Mario --- as you know I have wanted that from the first mention of the game. I think I will get a lot more game play and so much more entertainment value for the money -- Sonic is a title that I have enjoyed but I have in the past found it a little shallow, it strikes me as go fast and not much else. Of course I am not all that good at going that fast : ) I think Excite Truck is enough totally fast for me for now. I am a little put off by the reviews in NP as well. I think there are some very interesting games out there and with SPM being so close to release -- it is sensible to wait. I do give some thought to the high cost of gaming and I am as sure as I can be without playing it that SPM is my kind of game -- 4/9/07 -- let the fun begin ( I think that is the right date ) The 3 D or 5 D thing is intriguing to me. We will see but it says a lot that I enjoyed the last 2 so much.. I will say this -- they are cheap now and I do recommend Paper Mario and Paper Mario the Thousand year door. G R E A T games.

It is the same here Oogy -- the weekends are family time -- I treasure that time. HR and I make that a priority and when Lisa can be here all the better. She is an RN specializing in pediatrics and works the night shift ( 12 hour shifts ) and every other weekend -- sooooo --- when she can be here it is extra special. That is a very good thing to know about you, I am glad you value family time. I think gaming and the computer are both good things but we should not loose our perspective.

I think my USB connector has gone bad --- I am going to try and get a new one today -- I am out of touch with the Wii world :(

Good morning Oogy.

Yeah, I think it's a good think you decided not to get Sonic. I think you'll like SPM a lot more, and it's not really that far away. You're right in saying Sonic is a shallow title lol. It's pretty much all about speed. Still a fun game though :P

That stinks that your USB-WiFi thing might be broken. How old did you say it is? Were you able to get a new one?

I haven't been on as much lately. The good news is that it's because I've been feeling healthier the past few days. So, I've been able to try and get stuff done that sometimes I wasn't able to. Yesterday I put up a bookshelf in my room, and I've been trying to exercise more so I'll be able to stay healthy.

That is great Oogy, as much as I like your company here I would far prefer to see you feeling well enough to be out and about and just checking in late at night when you are done with your projects. I do agree, the activity is good for us. Even though I do not always want to do chores I am glad to have them -- I would surely spend far to much. time gaming and at the computer. The time can really get away from me fi I have a really good game.

I guess I did say that the game sounds a little shallow didn't I :( As long as it is fun it does not matter but you see I am not all that good at going fast ! I am not a skilled gamer, even with all of my experience I am just persistent. I know from watching Beau and Logan play what a top notch player can do. I enjoy games that have puzzles and adventure -- such as Zelda but in it's own way SPM. I like to see what is around the next corner. I do not like time limits and I do not like to be pressured. I think a game like Sonic would make me feel pressured if I could even get through it. No telling how long it will take to get all of the S rankings in ET -- if ever but at least I have fun trying, yes it is fast but the crashes break that up enough for me :) After you said that Sonic was so fast that you could not even enjoy the scenery I knew I would prefer SPM. Actually I pretty much was determined to have that one unless something really awful came out about it.

Continue to stay well Oogy, that is wonderful news.

I'm going to visit a friend today. It'll be nice cause I haven't seen him since he got married back in December. Plus I'll get to try out the multiplayer on some of my Wii games, I'm sure. I'm gonna be heading out pretty soon, but figured I'd drop in here to say something.

Well, I"m back. I had a ton of fun hanging out with him and his wife.

I learned something kinda cool tonight. Do you remember the character Leonidas from the part of the book that I let you read? Well, there's a movie coming to theaters soon that I think is about him(about the guy whose name I'm using). The movie is called 300.

Apparently, he lead about 300 Spartans in a last stand against an army of about 10,000 Persians. Supposedly, that heroic battle held the Persians off long enough for the citizens of whatever city they were protecting to escape. The act also supposedly inspired the rest of Greece to bring down the Persian empire, which eventually happened 150 years later with Alexander the Great. One historian on the show I was watching about it speculated that it might have in turn even saved democracy. So I guess you can thank Leonidas for democracy :P

There's a little bit of history for the night lol.

G'nite

I saw a commercial for 300 yesterday and did recognize the name --- however -- I was not sure if it was a coincidence or it that is where you heard the name. I was going to ask today. It was billed as an epic motion
picture of unbelievable scope or something close to that : )

I am glad you had such a good day. time spent with good friends can be so rewarding in many ways, we all need that.

I did miss you though and am very happy you are back this morning.

Yeah, so, I have a sticker on my bike that says KRZD iDiot. Think about it. Ha! I poked fun at myself, Motorola, and Apple. *insert appropriate accolades*

Hmmm. I'm tired. Homework will do that to you. Or me.
