Hmm... I just discovered last night that there is a big expo in Fort Worth on the 12-14th of October where there will be a TON of people from the screen printing industry. That's pretty cool because I had already asked for those days off from work. At the time I asked off, I wasn't even really sure why I was asking off, I just had a feeling I would be doing something those days. Well, now I'm pretty sure I want to go to this thing, it would be a great learning experience for me, a good chance to make contacts, and a lot of the companies there offer special prices on their products and equipment.

Wow -- that is tremendous Oogy ! and you had already ask for the days off, that was meant to be. I do hope it works out. It sounds like a true opportunity and a learning experience. I do hope you get to go and I will be very eager to hear all about it. That should be perfect weather and you should come back with much knowledge of shirts and all that goes with the creation and marketing of them ! October should be nice weather as well, awww everything is better in the Fall. :)

Please let me know if you are going. I will miss you but I will keep you in my prayers as you travel.

I talked through email with one of the companies that will be at the expo, and it sounds like they are going to get me a pass to the expo for free :D A pass is only $25 to buy, but that's $25 I can put toward something else.

I know we've got some family friends in the Fort Worth area. I'm not sure how comfortable or awkward it would be to ask to stay with them for a couple of nights. Hopefully I'll be able to work something out though. I'm planning to call my dad later and see what he thinks.

*Blech!*

I've had a fever and crazy sinus problems and a sore throat for the past couple of days.

I wouldn't even be so annoyed by being sick if I hadn't had to call in sick to work.

I can relate to the sinus problems -- that and allergies that I deal with are very annoying ! Add a fever to that and B L E C H is right -- I hope you feel better soon Oogy, I will keep you in my prayers. Missing work is not good.

I ordered my first batch of t-shirts this morning! They are supposed to be here by Thursday(maybe even Wednesday but probably not) and I'm really excited about it :D

I also talked to a guy that is able to get me into the expo next weekend in Fort Worth. He gave me his cell number and told me just to give him a call when I get there and he'll come out and give me a badge :D


I still need to get my website set up though. For some reason the credit card I'd been using to pay for my web hosting denied payment on the last invoice... no idea why. So, all my websites are(temporarily) gone right now. Hopefully I'll be able to get it worked out and finish setting everything up in time to launch my store on the 13th. Having a website is a pretty important part of an online store lol. I believe God will work it out, but would appreciate your prayers.
