I did forget that there is a place for websites.
I just posted in another topic inquiring if you were feeling better -- I have been worried about you and I have been praying for you.
What a day you have had. That is just too much for one day for anyone. You had me pretty worried about the Wii ! I do remember how long you waited to get it and how happy you were, I saved the pictures : ) We had intended to play today with our duaghter Lisa, however -- having had the same sorts of problems you mentioned, oh the joys of rural living, I just turned every thing off and unplugged the Wii and my computer from the phone. I have turned the computer on for brief periods when things were stable but not for long. We are having the very ferocious wind as well and the air has literally been a strange reddish color. They said on the news that it was Texas dirt in the air because of this persistent wind. I thought of you and figured it was worse in your part of Oklahoma. You are closer to Texas than we are by far. That can not be good for a person. So far our trees are still standing -- at least the ones we can see. Some where on the 40 ty acres something must be down but as long as it is not on the house or close to the barn and house -- we will worry about it later. We have gone out and checked many times for limbs but so far they have been harmless. We heard one horrible racket bu it turns out an empty trash can had taken flight. For my part -- I am ready for it to quit and just since I started typing this --- it is quiet for now. Oh I do hope it stays that way. I am a light sleeper and I doubt if I could ignore what has been going on all day. Oh No it is starting again, not s bad though. We had a tornado warning for awhile but at least that is gone.
I have been playing games on the DS and reading -- we are having a day off, it has been a busy week.
Did you see the post by Aftiel in the Diddy Kong Racing topic. Oh my -- I feel so sorry for him ( yes I know I have been upset with him but I am sorry for that ) he seems such an angry and troubled person, but he truly has gone too far this time. He has used the Lords name in a very bad way in my opinion and said unkind things about Jonah. I am technically a moderator on w-o-n but I never did get the handbook on what to do and what not to do and so I usually just tell Jonah but I think he is watching that topic. Aftiel needs to be moderated and put on probation or warned or something. I am sorry for him but I do not understand his
attitude and it is not right for w-o-n. We had a person use the Lords name in that manner here -- not mean -- but not appropriate and Beau just took it out. This whole post is bad. It is just mean. Oh well, one thing is for sure you can trust Jonah to handle it.
I am so glad you have stayed with Lilbro. I would hate to loose you here Oogy.
Lisa will come out tomorrow for church and hopefully some Wii Sports and Wii play. I do like the silly little target shooting thing in that.
I hope you have a much better day tomorrow Oogy, I am glad to know that you will be in church with your family, Gods Blessings to all of you.
Are you going to have to see a doctor about your throat ? -- I know you said it is related to the accident but it has been going on for such a long time now.

I haven't really looked at the forums. Pretty much all I was on the internet yesterday was to make that post on here, and even then our electricity was still flickering, so I wasn't on long.
It's still a little windy today, but nothing near what it was yesterday. Our air was very red yesterday and if you opened the door even for just a little bit, the air inside became dusty. I had to dust off my Bible this morning before going to church lol.
I am feeling better today. It is still hard to swallow, but I can swallow some, and that's an improvement.
I have talked to a couple of doctors about it and none so far have really known what was wrong. I guess I'm just not talking to the right people, but without knowing what it is it makes it harder to find the right people. I've got an idea though, I think it might be some sort of muscle seizure.
I don't know about yesterday, but my chat seems to be working now.
On another note, I had another book idea last night when I wasn't sleeping..
It's set in a fantasy world where there are seven dragons. Each of the dragons represents one of the seven deadly sins. The main character decides he is going to rid the world of sin by defeating each of the dragons. When he challenges each dragon, he will face a trial that tempts him with the deadly sin that dragon represents. As he progresses, he realizes he has more of a problem with each of the sins than he previously thought. Each dragon he faces represents a sin that he has more trouble with than the last one, until he finally reaches the last one - pride.
When he passes the final trial and has defeated the final dragon, he notices that the rest of the world is continuing to sin just like they did before his journey. This makes him angry and he wonders how they could do that after all he's done to rid the world of sin. Suddenly the dragons of wrath and pride reappear. After battling them again(or maybe sometime during the battle) he realizes that each man has his own set of "dragons" to deal with and that even after we've defeated our dragons we(being humans) tend to bring them back. It is a continuing battle.
So what do you think? Any input? At first I thought maybe the guy would refuse to accept the fact that he still had problems after defeating the dragons the first time around and because of that was swallowed up by them. I think it would be better if he ended up winning though.
Just another thing to add to the list of stuff I'd eventually like to write.

All work no play may have made Jack a dull boy;
but all work no God has left Jack with a lost soul.

Oh and I also switched signatures again, this time I didn't make it up though. This is the first line of a song called "American Dream"(at least I think that's the name) by Casting Crowns.

The new book idea is very interesting -- that gives me a lot to think about.
Our air is clear and the wind is normal again -- that was fierce and I am glad it is over but here we go with tornado season.
I am glad you are feeling better. Now -- just keep improving.
The new signature is nice but I must be honest, I just love the one you wrote yourself. That is going to be hard to beat.
We have had a very busy day --- and I must go for now. I will have more to say tomorrow.
Good night Oogy.

The more I think about that idea the more I like it. I think that with further development it could be a really good book for me to eventually write.
One thing I thought of is maybe there could be an 8th dragon. One of brilliantly pure white that would sacrifice himself in order to protect the world from the dragons, but the people must choose to accept his help.
I don't know, there's just so many ways it could go. I'm eager to hear what other people think about it.
After thinking about it more, I think that signature made a better song than a signature, so I'll leave it as what it was meant to be. I've got a new signature again lol. This one comes straight out of the best selling book of all-time.
---
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Excellent signature, I read that book, I like the way it ends. I am reading it again right now, it always has something to teach me.
How would you incorporate the dragons -- do you intend to have a whole fantasy world around then and then weave in the message each dragon has to offer. The pure white dragon is the one I am the most anxious to hear your thoughts on. Since I have just finished one series about dragons that tells of the Christian message and have just started another, I am really interested in how you would present this. Clearly I like this sort of thing. I think it is challenging but very worthwhile.
I have not received a WoN news letter via Wii in awhile. Is it just me -- are you getting them, did I miss a post about needing to sign up again ?
So -- have the problems with the throat cleared up ?
I do need to get my old signature back up, I am not good at all at creating them. I do enjoy yours.

I got a W-o-N newsletter for Monday morning, and I think I've been getting one everyday(or at least most days.
I haven't got it entirely figured out yet, but there would be a whole fantasy world full of people. Some would choose to ignore the dragons, some accept the dragons, some are aware of the danger, maybe others even believe the dragons are good, or perhaps worse - refuse to believe the dragons exist.
It'll probably be hard to find the best way to incorporate the white dragon into the story until I've developed the rest of the story more. I've been thinking it might be good to give the dragons the ability to take on other forms, so, to further the symbolism, maybe this white dragon could even come to the main character as a man offering his help. A man as proud as the main character would probably have trouble accepting this help.
I guess that's stuff I'll figure out as the story develops more in my mind. It'll be a while before this story ever reaches paper, so I've got some time to expand it, but it's fun to think about different ways things could work.
It's still a little bit harder than normal to swallow, but it's not enough to stop me from eating. My back has been hurting quite a bit though, so I had to lay down for a while earlier today.

You continue to be in my prayers, I can fully appreciate have a sore back -- mt heating pad is my friend some days :)
I think your idea for the fantasy land around the dragons would be the way to go and I really like your thoughts about the white dragon -- yes -- I like that very much. I do hope you get to write some of these books fairly soon, I keep thinking about them.
I am working on the WNL problem, apparently it is me and the solution is yet to be determined. WoN seems to be down right now, perhaps Jonah is doing some maintenance.
Off to the barn to feed the critters
I totally forgot an appointment to get my hair cut this morning -- I called just in time to cancel --- oh my -- how embarrassing.

I appreciate your prayers.
I tried to get some sleep this afternoon because I have to leave really early in the morning to make a trip to OKC. So I'll be getting up early and driving a lot, two things I'm not real fond of lol, and they tend to make me sleepy. Luckily I probably won't get tired until the way back, and by then I'll be able to pull over and take a nap if I need it.
I also went for a walk through the woods today. That was something I hadn't really felt up to doing in a good while. It was nice. The weather was nice, and this time of year there weren't many spider webs to walk through or snakes to step on.
Did you get your wii mail this afternoon?
Whenever I woke up from my nap this afternoon, I thought it was tomorrow and I had forgotten about the stuff I have to do in OKC lol.
