I do a customer service/ tech support in the evenings for a small local company here. It's not too bad but I never enjoyed talking on the phone :) I like the questions that come in by e-mail.

I'm probably not gonna be on here too long, but I've got a few things to say.
Thanks for the votes guy, you changed the outcome at the last minute :P
I've got the next question up for you to vote on, so be sure to vote.
I've got a couple of prayer requests too. I think I've mentioned on here before that one of my sisters is pregnant and the baby is due in September. Well, her husband is in the Coast Guard and when he gets deployed it's normally for about 6 months at a time. They had thought they might be able to work it out so that he wouldn't have to go out on the boat but could stay in the port and work there so that he could stay at home. They called this morning though saying that the person who was supposed to come and take his place is now complaining about an old knee injury and Adam may end up having to go out on the boat after all. If that does happen, he would be deployed in August before the baby is due and then be gone for the first few months of his baby's life.
So I would appreciate it if you would pray for the two of them and my unborn niece who may not know her father during her first few months.
Also, I've got a friend that could use your prayers. She's struggling in a few different areas right now and is just having a generally rough time.

Thanks, I'll keep them in mind. It is I'm sure very desirable as a new father, to be there with your wife during the birth, but also to meet one's child for the first time. That's very rough.

Yes indeed it is -- I will pray for them, I hope he will be able to be home and if he has to go that his deployment will be a safe one. I grew up in an Air Force family -- I know what it is like to have your father away. I know that my mother handled many things on her own that should have been shared. It can be tough but I do so
appreciate the men and military families that make such great sacrifices.
So the vote changed the story -- did you post what won ? I am curious about that.

The Ninja is a weekly video that is sent out, basically it's a guy who dresses like a Ninja and talks about what a Ninja would do in a situation. Like "All throughout this Pirates movie there was this Krakken. I mean, what's the big deal? I have personally fought a Krakken, it's not that hard!"
http://youtube.com/watch?v=3RSofwlndC0
If you get a chance, take a look, I honestly thought it was pretty accurate. I enjoyed the review more than the film I think ;) Though I too really like Hans Zimmer's music, it's funny how a whole lot of his music (from other movies) sounds very much the same.
"Basically, if you weren't a pirate in the last film, you're now a pirate."
Oy!!! I never laughed so hard since "Mike's New Car" at the end of Monsters, Inc. The whole part about the screenplay was great. "They took like 4 or 5 screenplays and loaded them in a shotgun, and then they pulled the trigger and sent someone out to pick up pieces and they just put them together for the screenplay. But then that was lost about halfway through shooting, and then the director just made it up."
HA!!!! Ninja Excuses is pretty funny too.

Sorry I've been kinda busy lately and haven't posted too much.
One of the things I've been working on is a website for my church. They asked me to set one up Sunday night, so I've been kinda working on that. I've been experimenting with different layouts and stuff trying to figure out what would work best. I'm also kind of testing out a couple of things I've never really tried before. Right now, the colors I'm using kind of make it look like a pumpkin(the two most dominant colors are a brownish orange and a green color lol), but I should be able to change all the colors around later on without too much trouble. I'll probably get someone else to choose some colors for me once I've got everything set up.
Anyway, I think it's time for sleep now(about 1 AM). I just wanted to drop in and leave a note.

I'm sure you have plenty to keep you busy, which is always good in one sense. Thanks for dropping a note! I'm not good at color schemes either :)

I feel like I've been on some kind of wild goose chase or endless scavenger hunt or something today.
I was thinking about going to turn in my apartment application today and apply at some job places(I already applied at one, but don't want to count on getting that one). Then, I read a little note on the application that says I need my social security card when I turn in the application. Wish I'd read that earlier...
I have absolutely no idea where my SS card is. I'm not even sure if I've ever seen it before. Both of my parents and I all took our turns looking through our filing cabinets and various other likely(and some not so likely) places in the house. No luck.
At that point, I decided to look into getting a replacement. It turns out that it's free, but it can take a couple weeks for them to mail it to you. That looks like the only option though, so I looked more and found out that I need to fill out an application and take it along with my driver's license and birth certificate to Hugo(a little under an hour away). But where is my birth certificate?
Well, that one wasn't too hard because I'd seen it when I was looking for my SS card.
So anyway, hopefully I'll be able to get that taken care of tomorrow. Then I think they either give you a temporary card or a receipt of some kind, so I'm hoping that will be good enough for my apartment application. So maybe I can get my new ss card ordered, apply for my apartment, and apply at a couple of job places tomorrow.

That post made me smile -- I went through the same thing when we got our passports except for me it was my birth certificate --- ughhhhhhhhhhh what a hassle ! I now have what I call my who am I folder. Replacing
my birth certificate was far more difficult than I had imagined.
After you get the SS card replaced you will most likely find it : ) I found my birth certificate !
