I can tolerate Heat to some extent right now because I have good habit of drinking enough water to cool me off. I also have to extra careful since I do not easily sweat under normal conditions due to a hereditary skin condition. I do foresee many problems appearing though when I get older when my tolerance starts to disappear though...

Good for you. I hope you do not get any worse -- perhaps with careful management you will do fine.

You have made me think, I have never liked the heat or tolerated it well but it is worse now that it used to be
or perhaps I just give in to it --- I do not know --- but I do avoid the heat. I still get out and do chores and
such but I start just before daylight or earlier. I, however am very capable ( too capable actually ! ) of sweating.

That would stink. I don't particularly like the heat, but I don't really have to worry about it too much as long as I'm drinking enough water to stay hydrated. If I couldn't go outside, it was always just because I couldn't get up not because of the weather.

This isn't really related, but since you were talking about sweating... I don't really sweat like normal people do. My hand and feet are always sweating no matter whether I'm hot, cold, or neither. But other than that, I don't really sweat much most of the time. It gets really annoying though. I have to wear socks all the time even when I'm sleeping(I only take my socks off when I'm in the shower). And anytime I'm holding something for more than a minute or two, it can get really sweaty and hard to hold onto. If I'm holding someone elses hand, it starts sweating even faster because of the warmth from their hand.

It's kind weird, I don't know why it's like that....

On a different note, the camera and SD card I ordered off Amazon both came in yesterday :D We didn't check the mail until late though, so we weren't able to pick it up until this morning. I've been messing with it though, and it's pretty cool. It's really easy to use, but it's also got a lot of settings for me to play with if I want lol. I was trying to get a picture of me juggling earlier, but it didn't end up being as cool as I thought it would be. It just looks like I threw some balls in the air, you can't tell that one is going up and one is going down etc.

Oh yeah. I almost forgot to mention that I started up a blog last night. I'd been thinking about it for a while, but I finally did it. www.strategic-chaos.com Decided to put to use one of the other domains I've got but hadn't really been using.

So now my website is www.johnrileywarren.com and my blog is www.strategic-chaos.com And I've got a link on each of them that leads to the other one.

There's not really much on the blog yet(one post), but it's a start.

I bookmarked the blog in my Oogy pages !

Well we certainly all have our own issues don't we.

I really have adjusted to my heat issues -- I get everything done outside early -- I have from 5:45 to 10:00
or so and then usually late evenings --- that is enough outside anyway --- I like to spend time in my craft room and reading in the hot summer -- I really do not think much about it anymore -- air conditioning is a
wonderful thing ! One nice thing about the crazy weather here in Oklahoma you never know when you might get a cool spell, at the 4th of July get together last year it was cool enough for a light jacket or at least a long sleeve shirt outside -- for the fireworks ! You just never know -- I had been dreading the event -- too hot you know --- and then it turned off nice and cool, Judy said she provided the cool weather just for me. Everyone else said it was too cool -- the kids were wanting to go swimming --- I loved it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No jacket for me.

Now if people would just quit getting married in June. I think November weddings would be nice : )

My sister and best friend got married in December(not to each other... not even the same year). One of my other friends is getting married in June though.... and it's going to be outside.

Anyway, I think I'm gonna go play with the camera some more :P

I say that December is an excellent idea ! At least the wedding we have to go to in June is in the evening in a church, that is the good news -- it is a very formal wedding --- not my thing --- oh I do dislike dressing up.

So do you have that camera figured out now and when do you leave ?

Yeah, I hate dressing up too... t-shirts and jeans for me :)

Yep, I've got most of the stuff on the camera figured out, definitely enough to take a few pictures. I don't k now a whole lot about photography or anything, but hopefully I'll be able to get some good shots anyway :)

I'll be leaving on the 5th of June.

Both of my sisters and my brother in-law are in for the weekend(the younger sister and my bro in-law will be here for about a week), so I may be kinda busy with them some. I hadn't been on the net at all today until now.

Hmm...

You remember that 43things.com website you went to from a link off of my site? Well, there's this guy on there that I've been kind of watching and talking to the past couple of weeks. Anyway, he posted an interesting question today asking what Jesus would be most angry about if he were in the world today(physically). Obviously that caught my attention and I immediately had a couple of ideas for responses. After skimming through some of the responses, I noticed that a couple of people were talking about the intolerant attitude of churches. *double take* ... Yeah, that's what they said. At that point, being the anti-conformist I am(lol), I HAD to say something. Especially since the mindset of OVER-tolerance many churches have adopted was going to be one of the big things I was going to mention.

Anyway, I'm not a stranger to saying things that contradict what others are saying, but after I do, I always wonder if I said the right thing(especially on something like this). Not because I don't think I should have stepped in and stated my views, I'm used to doing that , but because I wonder if I could have said it better or mentioned something else or whatever.

So anyway, I was curious what you guys think. Here is a link to the original post and all of the responses(I'm pretty sure you can view it without signing up on the site) http://www.43things.com/entries/view/2038429

It's kind of funny because tonight before I saw that, I was in one of those reflective moods I get in sometimes where I like to just sit and think about stuff. I don't normally sleep much on nights when I'm in that kind of a mood, so I decided to look around a bit more than I was planning to on 43things.com and that's how I found that post. I'm still in one of those moods, but I feel like I'll be able to sleep more now. Kinda cool.

Your response to all of that stuff --- was very good -- and ohhhhhh do I agree -- I think far too many churches are preaching tolerance -- the kind of tolerance that will take you straight to hell.

Warning to those that might read the post -- there are some very uncomfortable topics.

You did a very good job Oogy.

I really liked this part of your post'

"The God of the Christian Bible is NOT a tolerant God. He is a loving God, but that is not the same thing. Ever heard of Soddom and Gomora? A big flood and a man named Noah? There were also times in the Bible when He commanded his people to go to war against others who had different beliefs. NOT a tolerant God, a jealous God."
