I just really liked it when the show was in Australia or some place like that -- it really does not matter that much.

I am getting rather excited about the trip as well --- stage security -- my but that has an important sound and best of all -- just think what a great location to hear and see what is going on. Director of camping sounds like fun too. Getting to meet people as they come in should be interesting.

We have 2 digital cameras -- our first one is to complicated for me -- it has a tripod and such and HR does need it for taking pictures of crates and loads as they leave on the Semi trucks and stuff -- he is good with it but I never did like it much. I forget what kind it is -- it is now his camera. I have a Canon Power Shot SD 550
Digital ELPH -- that is what it says on the front of the camera --- I would never remember that. I ask for a small easy to use reasonably priced camera that I could stick in my purse or pocket and have handy for critter photos and stuff like that. That is what HR got me for Christmas that year. It does more than I need because I just use the Macro setting and turn the flash off and on -- that is about it -- I do like the fact that it will take movies as well -- but that eats up the battery. It came with a very handy charger and if I do not take movies the battery life is great. I think it is pretty good for a cheaper camera. HR did the shopping. I do not know where he got it.

Now -- let it be said that is absolutely all I know about digital cameras except that Logan has a Fuji Film one and he takes wonderful pictures ! I am terrible with pictures -- I take snapshots !!!!!!! I am not a photographer.

When do you leave Oogy -- I will miss you so much here but I am thrilled for you that you get to go ! I think it will be a great experience in so many ways. I want you to be careful though. I will worry a little :)

So you like the camera you use? I've kind of looked around, and the one I was looking at was the Canon Powershot A630, which I guess is from the same line but a newer model or something. I'm still kind of looking around. I haven't really talked to my dad about it, he just gave me a vague price range that he was thinking about, and I'm looking to see what cameras seem good and if I can find a deal on them that would be in that range.

Don't worry, I'll be careful. I know with that many people, there's probably going to be some accidents, I'll just do my best not to be involved in any of them :)

Well, I will have to say that the last few posts have much information in them. Glad you got accepted Oogy and I hope you get a camera soon.
I will have to post later when I have more time.

Sounds like you will be busy at the Collide Festival Oogy. I hope you can get or borrow a camera so you can take pictures and put them on your site.
You will have to tell about your time there and what it is like. The security part sounds interesting and I wonder just what you will have to do.

That is just how I feel Himura -- won't it be fun to hear all about the adventure !

It sure will. I just hope that nothing serious happens because that would spoil all the fun.

Today snuck up on me, I've leave for a trip to OKC in a little bit.

My dad ended up really liking that camera I showed him(Canon Power Shot A630), and we ended up ordering it last night. I had part of an unused Amazon Gift Certificate, so I ordered a 1GB SD card to use with it.

I like using new gadgets, so I'm looking forward to getting it lol. Plus, it should get here while my sister/bro-in-law are here, so we'll be able to get some pictures of them. Then of course I'll have the camera for the music festival. We needed it for our VBS. My parents are planning on going to California in September to see my baby niece, so they'll want pictures of that. So I'm sure this camera will get lots of use.

Anyway, I've gotta put some shoes on and head out. Ttyl.

Glad you could find a Camera Oogy and were able to buy a memory card for cheap. I am sure that you will get used to it quite easily and I will be looking forward to seeing the pictures of the festival on your website.

Sorry this is a bit late, but on the FMA train of thougt. I've never seen the Anime, but the Manga was a blast to read. Wrath's cool! Five swords are a nice addition...Himura's been telling me that Wrath doesn't have five swords in the anime. Pity, bladed weapons are cool.
