I'm curious what you had to say :)
I added a little bit to my website. It still basically looks the same, but it's got a bit more content now(still not really much). That was during the little bit of time I was on this morning, then I haven't really been on most of the day.
I mostly spent the day cleaning up around here. I'd let my room get pretty messy and decided it was time to change that. It's still messy, but it looks a lot better.
My oldest sister came in this afternoon. My dad is graduating tomorrow with his masters degree in counseling, so she wanted to be here for that. Plus of course Sunday is Mother's day.
My younger(but still older than me :P ) sister also called today. Her and her husband(and my future niece and their two dogs) are planning on coming out here next week. I think they wanted to get here sooner for my dad's graduation and Mother's Day, but he couldn't get it cleared with the Coast Guard to let him have the time off until now. They'll be here for a couple weeks, so that'll be cool. I haven't seen them in a while.
Tomorrow will probably mostly be spent at the graduation and then we'll probably go out to eat and maybe watch a movie afterwards or something.
I think everyone else is asleep except for maybe my sister who I think is talking on the phone. I've been kind of daydreaming again about the whole t-shirt thing I was talking about. I looked into prices of other things I would need besides the t-shirts themselves(mostly shipping stuff). I'm not really any closer to being able to make it a reality, but I just figured it can't hurt to get a good idea of exactly how much money this will take. I'm kind of trying to put it all in an excel sheet so I'll have an organized list of how much each thing will cost and then a total. I'm getting kinda sleepy, and have to get up early(for me at least) tomorrow, so I'll probably finish this another time. Kinda cool to mess with though.

You still never said what you were going to say in response to my other post Les :)
Well, my sister just left. She has to be home to work on Monday morning, so she didn't want to get home too late. I think she may be trying to get home for her evening church service too.
My dad's graduation went well, and today has gone well so far too.
Going back to the thing where I said I don't have a camera, I think I might be able to borrow one. Would still be nice to have my own, but if I can borrow one, that's the next best thing :) If I can, then I will do my best to take pictures and post them online. That'll be fun.
I still haven't heard anything back about my application, but I think I should hear something by the end of this week(I hope so at least).

I feel that I may have lost focus here -- are we talking about your website you have been working on ?
If so I like it very very much -- I like the colors -- they are inviting yet they seem right for a guy's website.
I really like the way you are using your initials and I look forward to more content and I still think you must find
a way to take pictures at the collide event -- they would be perfect -- even if you use one of those one time digital cameras. They do have some very very reasonably priced cameras out there as well.
You did say though that you think you can borrow a camera.
I am glad you had such a nice family weekend --- we did too.
You will let us know about the application won't you.

There were a couple of topics in my post you could have been responding to, I don't really know. All you said is that you would be back later to post a response.
I'm glad you like it :)
I'm working on some other content to add to it. I've got some things I plan to add to the section for funny stuff, and some other things too. I think my dad is going to try to get a digital camera at WalMart. Actually, he may have already gotten it, he said he was going to get it Monday night, but he spends the night in Durant on Mondays since he works there on Mondays and Tuesdays and it would be a waste of time and gas to drive back and forth. Anyway, we were going to need the camera in July anyway because we're going to take pictures of the kids at our VBS that our church is doing. So he said he would go ahead and see if they had a decent(And decently priced) one at WalMart. He said if he got one, I could borrow it on the condition that I let him have a copy of my pictures :)
As for the application, when I checked my email a little while ago, I had received an email from them :) Apparently my application had been accepted. It also had a schedule for the week. I'm still not sure what jobs I'll be doing, but I think they're going to tell me that later. I'm getting even more excited now than I already was. It's not that far away. I'm sure the time between now and then will seem short too. The younger of my sisters and my brother in-law will be here for a good portion of that time. I haven't seen them in a while, so that'll be nice.
In a completely unrelated topic, did you see the Survivor season finale on Sunday? We were going to miss the first hour or so during our evening church services, so we recorded it to watch when we got back.
I won't say much incase you missed it or something, but out of the people that got to the finals, the one I would have voted for is the one that won. I wasn't really happy with some of the stuff that happened before that, but it was still the person I would have voted for if I'd been on the jury.

Great news ! You got accepted and you will have a camera to take -- I am so excited to hear about it and to see the pictures.
Yes we have seen the final Episode of Survivor -- we recorded it as well. I agree -- I did want Yauman to win but I feel that he made a foolish mistake trusting Dreamz. I was rather upset with Dreamz when he said I swear to God -- when he made his promise and then said he never meant to keep his word. We were surprised and pleased when Boo called him on it at tribal.
I would have been just sick if anyone but Earl had won of the final 3. Cassandra did nothing the whole show -- never even trying in challenges -- and if Dreamz had won -- I would have been sick -- !!!!!
It was an fairly good outcome -- Yauman seemed a man of his word and he assumed that Dreamz would be too.
Clearly he is not.
We have wondered if there was talk of faith between Dreamz and Boo and it was edited out.
Yes I do like your site and I will be checking back.
I will read back through your post and see if I missed something. It has been hectic here of late.

Well, my dad is back now and it turns out he didn't get a camera last night. He looked, but WalMart didn't have a very good selection at all. Hopefully he'll have other chances to go somewhere else and look sometime in the next couple of weeks. I may ask him sometime what price range he is thinking about and see what I can find on the internet.
I have no doubt that they had talks about faith while they were there. They are there on an island together for 39 days, I'm sure you would talk about a lot of stuff, and most of it would end up getting edited out. I always wonder how close the people we see when we're watching at home are to the people that were really playing the game. When they take 39(is that right?) days and condense it into about 20 hours of television programming(counting commercials), a lot is bound to get cut out.
I have to say that I hadn't liked Dreamz from the first episode. I remember about halfway through the first episode thinking that I didn't want to see him win.
I was kind of mad at Earl for voting Yauman off in the last tribal council, but I can see why he did it. If Yauman had stayed, he would have won. With Yauman gone, Earl got a unanimous vote to win the million.
I think it would be fun to play on there someday. One of the biggest reasons I liked Yauman was because he played the game the way I think I probably would've for the most part. He was always thinking about everything. He showed that you don't have to have a lot of muscle, and you don't have to weasel your way through everything. I actually looked to see how you get on the show just for fun, but you have to be 21, so it's not even an option(not that I really think I would have done it within the next couple years anyway).

Good luck with the camera -- it would be a shame not to get pictures. :(
Yes I liked the fact that Yauman reasoned things out so well -- except for trusting Dreamz. He was actually quite good in the competitions and represented us older folks very well.
I think that you are right -- if indeed you are playing th game to win -- Earl had no choice but to vote Yau out --
I think they are probably friends but to win -- Earl had to do what he did. I liked the fact that he gave half of his money to his Mom ---- awwwwwwwww.
I would never want to play the game -- I would not want to live so closely with strangers -- that would be very uncomfortable for me. I like my privacy.
This was a good season for Survivor -- they really kept it interesting.
I was disappointed that next season is in China.
I am going to miss the show -- Thursday night won't be the same :(

We didn't see the little sneak preview where they said where the next season was going to be. I forget why, I think we got distracted talking about something. Why are you disappointed that it's in China?
I just got another email from the Collide people. Apparently I'm going to be stage security(gotta work on my intimidating face) on Thursday-Saturday. On Wednesday, I'm going to be one of the guys that shows people where to set up their camping stuff.
I'm getting really excited about this lol. I think I'm gonna start looking at cameras. I don't really know that much about cameras, but that's one nice thing about the internet... it makes it easy to learn what you need to know.
