I am quite familiar with Spock -- I can even make the Vulcan sign with both hands :) ( not that anyone at all cares ! ) -- however -- I did not get the connection there at all ! Thanks for explaining.

Les, congratulations!!! It is quite difficult to form the Vulcan sign with the left hand. (for me anyway) One possible solution to what you folks are batting around is for a movie company to film all the movies one right after the other, but that would take an amount of overhead that would stagger almost anybody. Except maybe Disney, or New Line, but I don't know if they would commit to making that many films from one series. Pity. Oh well, here's hoping!

Thank you Panther --- I am surprised that people even remember that -- and for some reason it seems many people can not make the Vulcan sign with both hands -- left is the easiest for me and I am right handed.

I CAN DO IT WITH BOTH HANDS!!! :) Can anyone do this? Take your pointer fingers and face them to eachother(means they're pointing at eachother), and twirl one on way and one then other :) Not many people can do this. I can do it really fast :) Took me a while though. We had a firne dover the other night, and while eating dinner we were discussing weird things people do. And he said "well, I cna do somehting that most can't" and he started to spin his fingers opposite ways. And as sooon as we saw him start to do it. my sister, my dad, and I all started doing it. So whe he looked up form his fingers, he frowned and said "You're all freaks!" And then we broke into a laughter tantrum. :D It was lots of fun :)

Spread your middle finger and your ring finger apart(but the other fingers are together) Makes it look like you have three fingers. I'm surprised you don't know what it is. Even non star trek people usually know it. :

Oh, well I've been doing that for years, though I didn't know it was any sign.

First I have just my four fingers together, then separate them into two groups, the forefinger by itself and the other three in a group.

Then move the middle finger over to join the other (v)

And finally move the ring finger to join the other two and it's just your pinkie that is left. I can do it fine with both hands.
