You are so very right Himura, I think the thing that makes this Lilbro community so good and so enduring is the
fact that we are all very different --- true individuals --- with the common bond of our faith and a true friendship
that has grown out of this site over the years. I would not want any of you to change one bit -- Panther --
you always keep things interesting.

Come, does no one have something to post about Narnia? If nothing else, I will start. What part did you like best in "The Horse and The Boy"? I know that I like the part where Peter and company are in the desert place(can't remeber the name of it). What are you favorite characters? I know that I always liked Lucy's faithfulness.

I liked the relationship between the people and the animals. I loved the conversations the horses had and
hearing their view of the people. It is one of my favorite books.

I remember reading these books a couple times when I was younger, but for the most part, that's another memory I no longer have. I remember very little about the books. I keep meaning to read them, but never think about it when I'm at a bookstore, and my local(if you can really call it local) library doesn't even have them :( I read a couple of them when I was up in Chicago, and I have finally ordered a copy from Amazon. It's a single book with all of them in it, and I got it for about $5 counting shipping. As if I don't have enough books to read already :P Oh well, I'll get around to all of them eventually, and this is definitely a good one to have.

Please read them as soon as you can! They are one of the best book series I have ever read in my entire life.

OK -- I have decided to start through and read them again --- I see and excellent discussion developing here.

I do absolutely love Narnia. I discovered the books late in life, here at Lilbro actually. A rather interesting story -- I will post it later. I am sure that Narnia has always been in my heart though.

Oogy don't you just love those Amazon deals. I look for those books that have several books in one. I
recently got one called The Enchanted Forest Chronicles. It is a clean fun read -- very entertaining and amusing, of course it has dragons ! I knew nothing of the book but the reviews were good and the price was right -- 4 books in one and with shipping under 6 dollars. HR and I both enjoyed it and know Lisa will as well. Good clean fantasy can be hard to find ! It does not have the meaning or beauty of Narnia -- but it was a very fun book.

Say, anybody want to host a Narnia trivia post?
Poster: LES | 2007/04/23 16:16:59 PM
Yes -- let's do Narnia trivia for awhile.

I am not sure if I have the books so someone else who does have the books should host it.

Tomorrow Narnia the movie will be out. I am not sure if it is only Prince Caspian or if it includes Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Does anyone know ?

I am quite pleased it is about to be released.
