Still haven't gotten Brisngr. :( I never saw her after school.

But the play went really well both days!! I'm so happy :D

I don't have much to say. Not really a lot going on :) Oh and I don't have school off tomorrow. :( Oh well.

That is good to hear about the play. I know that you are very capable in that department so I expected it
to go well.

No Brisingr, that is not good. Is the person that has it a responsible sort ? They do not seem too willing
to return your book.

I think that the schools here are closed, I know that the banks and the post office. We will be working
though :( HR says that he is not so sure that the schools are closed -- probably not since you have
to go.

Are you still enjoying school JJ, it is hard to believe it is already mid October. It seems to be going so quickly.
The leaves are getting very pretty and it has been cold and rainy, it feels like winter. It is rainy again this
morning. It is a good thing that I am one of the odd sorts that likes gray, cloudy days. Some people
call it dreary but I like it.

Yeah, I'm really proud of the students. They really pulled it together in the last week, and they ROCKED the performance!! It was awesome :D

I know!! I'm so frustrated. I have to go by the school today for some business, so I'm thinking I'll go by at their lunch hour and seek her out. She actually IS usually the responsible type. I told her to just bring it with her to school and keep it in her locker so that if I don't come one day, she'll still have it if I come the next day. I hope she did do that :)

Well, school wasn't closed for me yesterday, but it was closed for Calvary. I don't know if it was closed for the public schools.

I do very much enjoy my classes. English is probably the one I like the least, but that's not saying much. That's the only class where I don't like my professor to well. She's kind of the "here, just do this and turn it in" type. She's not much of a... friendly type, I guess you could say. She sort of abrasive.

The weather has changed so drastically in just over a week. One day it was hot, the next day it was cool, and the next it was gray, and cloudy and misty and cold!! Well, cold for Southern Cali. Probably not so cold to you. :D But I'm loving it!! I've been drinking A LOT of tea :D Right now I'm having a nice hot cup of Constant Comment. Yum!!

I totaly agree about the weather! I love the gray, cloudy weather!! it's nto dreary at all to me. Well, the rain can get a little dreary if it stays too long. It starts to become an inconvenience. But other than that, this is the BEST weather. I wish we could get the beautiful colors of Autumn as you do. Most foliage here stays green or just goes dead. We don't really get all the reds and oranges. :) I don't like Southern Cali. but I don't think I could ever move out of state. I have so many people I LOVE here. I'd miss them so much!!
My parents are actually planning t move out of state in the next few years. They HATE California, not just the weather, but the politics as well. They're thinking they'd move to Idaho or something around there.

Oh, I have a job interview later today!!! Wish me luck!! :)

Good morning...-ish! It's almost noon, haha!

Perhaps you will be able to contact your friend soon. I am now quite eager to see what you think. I had
a nice talk with Logan about Brisingr, it felt like old times. We sure did have some lively discussions
about Eragon. Well perhaps you will have it soon and then if you can just find the time to read it.

I am so happy for you that the play went well. Good for you JJ.

Sounds like your weather has definitely improved.

Do you really think that your parents would move away after all of this time in California ?
Since you have lived there most of your life I can see why you would not wish to leave.
I know that you have many many really good friends.

So how did the job interview go ?

I am glad you understand about gray days --- I really get a little tired of people referring to them as
dreary. The rain has finally stopped here -- it is nice to have the cool. We are about to have some winter
like weather -- lows near freezing -- I am looking forward to having a fire, I always enjoy having my tea by
the fire.

Brisingr is now....(drumroll please)............ IN MY POSSESSION!! Yay!! I went back to the school and my friend finally had it with her!! YAY!! I have all morning tomorrow to dedicate to reading. Now, I just have to remember where I left! HAHA!! I've been saying the past few days, I don't know what I'm going to do with myself for the next two week with no drama rehearsals!(unless I get that job I interviewed for) Well, now I have something to do!! And since I doubt Brisingr will take two weeks, I have Redwall too! :) Yay, and, of course, the books of Pellinor to finish. Gosh, never enough time, always more than enough to read!! Well, that's a good thing I think. I think it's sad that my generation is generally known as the "non-readers" :( Reading is so much better than playing those ridiculous fighting video games with all the blodd and gore, and way, way better than watching most anything on TV thes days(not all, but most. There are some good programs, of course.)

At this moment, Scout is lounging across the back of my chair. She likes to do that for some reason. I can't see how it would be comfortable. Kind of like sleeping on a tree branch. But then again, I'm not a cat. :P She's been VERY attention needy the past few weeks. I think she's gotten to the point where she realizes that being fickle and sly isn't exactly the best way to get attention and loving. So, she's been very lovey dove-y lately. It makes me laugh :)

Well, the weather WAS improving. But it got really warm again today. And I was wearing SWEATER. It was cool this morning. And yesterday is was supposed to rain(which it didn't). I think I need to start checking the weather channel in the morning...

There's no doubt in my mind that my parents will eventually move out of state. They've been actually planning with our friends, the Long's, to move away for some time. They both agree that with California, the con's more than out way the pro's.

The job interview/preview went great! I feel pretty confident about the whole thing. And I am very hopeful about my chances!! What's great is that I'd already, before, made friends with the Manager. She likes me! I also know this because my sister works at the same company(I decided to try there first, then she, but she got the job before me), but thankfully at a different location. The other day she had to go to the location I'm applying at to pick up something for a customer. When Katherine, the manager, realized who she was, she, apparently, couldn't stop talking about me. According to Steph, she had nothing but good things to say about. So I thought that was cool.

The interview/preview on Wednesday is actually previewing what an employee would do at the job. One of the ladies quickly went through some points of greeting and helping a customer and such. Then she was going to have me actually pretend to be an employee and greet one of the customers, trying to remember to get all the points she told me into the conversation. But there were no customers at that time, so she had me role play with one of the other ladies. I think I did pretty well. Then, because this is a fashion oriented store, she had me put together an outfit for a semi-formal afternoon wedding for myself(pretend) to test my fashion sense and color co-ordination. And that I passed with flying colors. She really liked my outfit. after that she asked me a few question about why I want to work there, what I think I can bring etc. And that was it.

What's really cool towards the beginning, Katherine, who was in the back room busy with a ton of stuff actually came out to say hi to me! I think that's a really good sign!

Drum roll indeed -- let the discussions begin !

Sounds like you will get the job -- it seems to have gone very well.

I want you to get the job and have time to read :)

It will be interesting to see what the future holds JJ, when you finish your education the options
available to you may have something to do with what you decide. Perhaps there will even be a
young man that influences your choices. Life has taught to never say never about such things.
You will have so many opportunities, who knows where you will end up teaching.

So we need to discuss the book as you read through it since I have in fact finished it, when ever you are
ready JJ :)

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to reply. But I haven't been getting on the computer much. Since I've been done with the play, my family has been wanting to spend the off time I have with them. That is until the next play starts, and hopefully I start that job, if I get it. They haven't called me back yet. But my sister(who works for the same company) says it took them a long time to call her back when she was hired. So I'm still very hopeful!!

I don't have anything to report on Brisingr for discussions for I haven't been able to really pick it up and start reading it yet. I've read a few pages so far. I think I re-read some, I couldn't quite remember where I left off.

Not much to say otherwise. School is the same. Actually, I've missed a few classes this week, sadly. I've bene having a lot of trouble sleeping the past three nights. I think I need to try a different pillow... Or something. My back is aching bad, along with my neck. And I think that's hindering my sleep. I can't seem to get comfortable enough to fall asleep. And my the time I finally start to doze off, my alarm clock goes off. So irritating. My mom suggested some melatonin, and I'm gonna sleep in her bed, until she goes to bed(which is usually very late), then sleep on the couch or the sofa chair. For some reason I always sleep comfortably there.

Other than that, life's been kind of the same. I already miss seeing the drama kids everyday. They are great kids, and not being around them everyday is sad.

I need to go do dishes now... Ugh. Dishes are so very annoying sometimes. Oh well. Someones gotta do 'em, right?

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Lilbro is back, what a sad thing to come here and see an error message and no sign of Lilbro.

I am sure happy to see it again.

JJ I know you had the same experience.

I can see why your family would feel that way JJ, you girls are growing up so fast, I can imagine that
your parents think about that. My daughter moved into her own home quite some time ago and
even though she is close and we see her quite often it is not quite the same. I find it hard to believe
that you are so grown up now. Your parents want to keep you close. that is a good thing :)

I am sure you do miss the drama kids. You had a great time at that school and college is just not
the same. That is kind of the good and the bad of growing up.. Great new things happening but
often old friendships drift apart.

I just know that you are going to get the job and then you really will be busy and more independent.

Good morning everyone, and I am so glad that Lilbro is back.

I haven't officially had my first shift yet, actually. :) I have to go in tomorrow to fill out all the paperwork, and then next Friday is my first shift. I'm so excited!!!! :D

I'm glad Lilbro is just fine :)

I suppose that's true. I guess it's just a lot different from the kid's perspective. We're the one's constantly pushing towards leaving, we just want our independence. And the parents just don't want to let go. They don't want to see us go through the harder times by ourselves. But that's what we need. It's a difficult thing all around.

I got to see some of the kids yesterday. And auditions are next week!! I'm excited. I'm really glad that I'll be able to do the auditions. I was hoping I wouldn't have to work on those days. I did tell Mrs. Taylor that I would not be able to be as involved, because of work. But that I would come as often as I could :) And she's glad about that :) I'm excited to see what we have for this next show. I think it's going to be awesome!! :)

Well, not much else to tell. :) I'll talk to you later :)
