It was all that I expected and more. I get to see her again for a little while next week. I'm picking her up at the airport and driving her back to catch a ride with the group back to Chicago. Won't be a long visit but I'm still really looking forward to it.

... already dreading saying goodbye though, because I probably won't be able to see her again until the end of May.

This such a sweet and touching relationship. I am praying for you and I know that you are approaching this in the proper manner and it will all work out as the Lord intends.

I am extremely happy that the weekend did not disappoint and that you do have just a little more time with
your young lady. Brief is far better than nothing.

Oh my the end of May sounds a very long way off even to me. Thank goodness for the internet and the communication it provides.

Yeah, May does seem *really* far away right now...

I'm trying to look past that though and look forward to things after that, because it should be the last time we're apart for that long.

After her graduation in May, she is going back home with her family to Slovenia for the Summer, and I'll come back here and work a few more weeks, then I'm going to visit them in Slovenia as well.

And after that we're trying to work it out so we can both get jobs together working with youth somewhere(right now we're thinking about a couple of places in either Wisconsin or Tennessee).

Sounds like your future is set Oogy and I could not be happier for you. You are right, you can make it until May and then what a wonderful summer. I am so glad you are going to visit her home country. It will be a quite a summer for you. The two of you should make a great team to work with youth. I always knew you would do something very special.

Is she graduating from college ?

I'm really happy too :) Just not looking forward to spending that much time away from her :P

But we've definitely got a lot to look forward to.

And yeah, she graduates from college this May.

I haven't met most of her family yet(just her sister). I'll get to meet her father at her graduation in May, and then her mother and brother whenever I get to Slovenia. I'm looking forward to getting to know them and getting to see some of the places she's told me about :)

I am so pleased you are going to take that trip, it will be good for you to meet her family and I know you will
love the trip to Slovenia. It is o beautiful and for you to see it with Jacqueline is about as good as it gets. I can imagine how thrilled she will be to show you her home. Thinking of all that should make the time go by quickly.

Well, pretty soon here, I'm going to be headed down to the DFW airport to pick her up and drive her back so she can catch her ride in the morning.

I'm really looking forward to this little bit of time we'll have together... but I'm already dreading saying goodbye. Knowing everything we have to look forward to will make the time apart easier, but I'm pretty sure it's still going to be incredibly hard.

Oh well, for now I'll just be thankful that I get to see her in a few hours ;)

You are very welcome and I am so happy that you did have the extra time.

Of course it is going to be incredibly hard -- that is how it is when someone has become so very important to you. After all these years I can not imagine being away from HR for so long.

The thing I am so happy about is that you have definite plans that involve a great deal of time together and soon. Well not soon enough of course !

I was thinking of you tonight Oogy -- I am glad to see you have posted.

Good morning, What a week last week -- we were so busy, I am sorry I have not had anything to say but I do think of Lilbro and the good times here daily. I am behind on emails as well but I am going to try very hard this week to get everything caught up.
