Sorry, I haven't been on a little over a week. I've been a busy bee, once again.

My mom bought the new season of Smallville on DVD last night, so my family's been watching it almost non-stop. I like that show, but lately I just have no interest in watching TV.

Anyways, the play is going well at school, and I really enjoy my part it's really sweet. My friend Tally, who originally played my characters husband had to drop out of the play, and now my friend Cody plays the role of my husband. It's been pretty fun!!

Other than that, not much has really been going on except the play, and school.

Well, not true. The past two weeks I have taken Sara to church with me, because for a long while now she' hasn't been able to go to her church. Her family is usually very lazy or very busy on Sunday's, and because she does not have a license or a car, she is not able to take herself. So I've taken her, and I swear it's like she lights up when we get there! My church is rather small, and therefore extremely close. We're all one big family, and she really enjoys it because even though she's only come twice, she feels like she's known the for as long as I have. I'm really happy to see an improvement in her behaviour. She's been happier and more lively.

The past few months she's been working at her boyfriend's family's business as an office girl. But her boyfriend's family is not Christian, or in any way religious. They are a very negative environment for her, and I slowly watched how it changed her attitude. And after a while she noticed it too. She realized she was spending way too much time with her boyfriend and his family, and not enough with the Lord and her own family. Though her boyfriend claims to be a Christian he tends to act the opposite. And I don't know if he is or not. James is a nice guy, but he tends to use language, and crude discussion which can really bug.

Last week Sara made a very hard decision to break up with her boyfriend and quit her job, so as not to be in that environment. And even though I'm very proud of her, I know it's hard for her, because she is really close with James. It's not easy on either of them. If you could keep them in prayer, that'd be great.

Anywho, Sara is coming to church and youth group with me now, whenever she can. And it makes me very happy to have her there. :)

That is wonderful to hear JJ. I am happy for you and Sarah. What a good friend you are.

The weather from hurricane Ike is already effecting our internet connection ( oh that pesky satellite ) so I may not get to be around much till after Ike goes away. I will check in when I can.

Yes. I'm glad to be there for Sara when she needs me. She's gone through quite a few trying, and sad ordeals in her life, and most of them in the last few years. A good thing, though, is that Sara and James are still friends, and are still able to hang out together without being awkward. Which I'm glad for. I'm glad he doesn't avoid her, because that would hurt even more.

I'll be praying for you all with the hurricane!

Good news, though, is it's finally start to get cool again!!. I wore a scarf to school yesterday. though that really isn't saying much because I didn't wear a jacket. The scarf just kind of went well with my hat. But still. It was cool enough in the morning to wear it. I love the cold mornings. They're so nice! Fall is coming fast!

We did survive the storm but we have a big tree down in a bad place sort of on top of our business. It is a big one but another tree stopped the worst of it. Removal will we tricky. We had 57 mile an hour wind and 5 inches of rain in 4 hours. We just now got our internet service back. We did not loose our electricity though. It was a whole lot worse for many folks.

I am so happy about Sarah. I do pray she continues to do so well.

Cool weather is always good news, we have some 40 degree nights in the forecast next week. I look forward to those early mornings ! I am so glad you are having good weather as well.

Good morning ! Oh I do love the cool mornings.

The tree is gone gone -- no serious harm to the building, HR can fix it easily enough.

I do hope every one is having a very good week, I have resolved to get caught up on email.

We have had some sad news and I have been a little preoccupied. A very dear friend has left this world. I feel a bit more myself to day. I just keep thinking of his wife and daughters.

Make sure and tell the ones you love how much you care and never take a day for granted. None of us are promised tomorrow.
