I will surely do that.

We have had stormy weather today and that means the satellite connection is unpredictable. I have not spent time online because of that.

We have had a wonderful day though, we had company and we had great fun with the Wii. Our daughter and her friend were doing the boxing and I laughed so hard. It is so funny to watch people do that. Then of course there is the cow races on Wii Play. Mario Kart was not neglected either. A good time was had by all. We even had fun making a Mii for one of her friends. Everyone had to offer advice, it was a miracle we even got a Mii made. Bowling is always popular with a group.

It is late and I am tired so good night and I will catch up on email tomorrow I hope.

It is beginning to feel like old times, I do not mind though, I know all you young people are very busy.

JJ, won't you be out of school soon ?

It is cloudy and muggy but for now the satellite is working and all is well.

Lisa brought us some strawberry preserves that she made over the weekend. I am going to make hot biscuits, sausage and eggs for breakfast. Maybe even southern style hashbrowns. HR and I are taking sort of a day off today. How nice in the middle of the week.

Yes, I will be out of school soon. I have one week of review left, and then finals week, and that's it. I'll be a Senior. Yikes...

JJ, you are back ! I have been worried about you. I even sent you an R U OK email.

A senior, it does not seem possible. When you first came here that was soooooo far off. Steph was just a junior I think and you a freshman. You are growing up -- I guess you won't want to be the baby of Lilbro
anymore :( ( even if you still are our little JJ and always will be )

I know. It's so strange to think that I'll be graduation in a year.

And after next week I'm on break, so I'll be able to email more :D Yay!So yeah. And I have some good plans this summer. Two main ones, going to Expo once again with my friends, and of course, going to the River with the Longs. This year both our families are going, because we were all able to get it off. But other than that I don't know if I have any plans. Maybe a couple trips to the beach, hopefully. And going shopping with my friend Sara. We were wandering around yesterday after school because we had nothing to do, and we ended up trying clothes on for fun at a small store down the street from school. WE found some really nice things, too. And we kept saying "Why is that we only find nice thigns that we like when we CAN'T buy it." Haha.

Sounds like a good summer to me, especially the more email part ( and posting ) Awwww yes the trip with the Longs, quite a tradition. I watched a special about that horse town they live in recently. Pretty neat place.

Maybe we will actually get to do some racing, I would enjoy that JJ.

I hope your summer plans include reading the Naming. Now that you finally have it I am having trouble being patient : )

Graduation, that just sounds so weird, you are just determined to grow up ! It really does not seem like it has been that long.

I surely am glad that you met Logan and then came to Lilbro, this place surely has been good to us all. Some true friendships have been formed here.

I often wonder how Panther and Himura are doing. I have quite a cat story to tell, Panther would like it. I think about Silas very often. I should email him.

Fortunately I am still in touch with Logan and Beau. I can not imagine not being in touch with Logan, he is a very special friend.

Well I need to go and cook supper. It is so nice to have you JJ, Oogy and Kara as active members again. Logan posted last summer, perhaps he will have a little time to join us this year.

I have a song to ask about but I will save that for later.

Goodnight all.

Today we start our Memorial Day holiday. We truly do honor those that gave so much and deserve to be remembered and honored for their service to their country. My father was career Air Force, it is how I grew up.
My brother served in the Air Force as well. I do not support the war in Iraq but I do support and honor the men and women serving their. This is a time to remember all that so many have given.

For most I think Friday is the day that so many will be out and traveling, I pray for all of you that your holiday is a safe one.

If you have time stop in and say hi.

Yes, my summer definitely includes reading the Naming. Hopefully I'll start that my the end of this weekend. :D

Did I tell you my sister was joining the Army in the fall?

Racing! That would be great. I'll need to brush up on my already bad skills. Haha!

I am determined to get out on my own and support myself. I'm a very independent person. I like doing things myself, and I don't very much like being cradled and sheltered. I want to be able to my my own living, and doing things myself. I don't like having crutches. But don't worry, I'll always be a kid at heart, and your litte granddaughter. And you'll always be my Gramma!

I wish I could keep in touch with Logan more than I am. I tried emailing him a few times last year, but he tended to reply once and then not reply back again. Once in a while I'll catch him on AIM, and get a good twenty minute chat or so out of him. But he's so busy with college, and studying. I don't want to be a nuisance to him. I think it's better that he concentrate on his work. He does work so hard. He's so smart!

Beau, on the other hand, it a different story. I don't think I've said even one word to him in over a year, sadly. I don't even had his email anymore. Though I'm sure I could get it somewhere on the site. I'd like to email him and catch up. Is he a year or two years older than me? I can't quite remember.

Aww Silas. I'm depressed to admit that I'd almost completely forgotten about him. He's such a nice guy. I remember that he liked fencing quite a bit. I haven't spoken to him in ages!!

Oh, I miss them all!! And Panther too!! He was always fun too. I believe he and I are much closer in age than I am with the other fellas.

We have Memorial Day off school. I don't know if we'll do anything. My whole family is working except for me. I think I'll trying and plan something with my friends.

"I'll always be a kid at heart, and your litte granddaughter. And you'll always be my Gramma!"

OK just so you promise, I have it in writing now : D I sure do hope so !

Oh my, why does Steph want to join the Army ? It has never seemed a good choice to me for a young lady.

I have not played MK DS since the last time you and I raced and I think the fact that I have been playing MK Wii will make it harder to go back to the DS. That is OK, win or loose I would love spending the time together, we can log in to Gtalk or something so we can talk !

Yes Logan is very very busy and I agree with you, I do not wish to take up his time either, I am very proud of him and I am just happy to hear from him whenever he has time. A chat is nice every now and then too. He is indeed an incredibly intelligent young man.

I do hope you enjoy your holiday, we are going to have a cook out and just relax quite a lot. I imagine some Wii games will be part of the day, everyone seems to enjoy that.

I am being patient about the book, it is just hard now that you A C T U A L L Y have it !
