Oh good -- now you can keep up with those pesky temps. Soon you will be wearing jumpers and I will be complaining about the heat. today was wonderful, just a perfect day. I just got back from the barn and I was wishing we could just skip summer and stay like it is, cool and crisp, clear and beautiful. NO humidity.
Did you do well at the dentist ? I do not liek the dentist.
61 degrees is perfect -- just about my favorite. Isn't that rather cool for this time of the year for you ?

61 is cold >_< especially for late April, yes. I can cope with weather like this in June/July but not now. Were is my mild autumn? Huh?
The dentist was... fine actually. It didn't hurt at all, even when I got the anethsetic. Alex (my dentist) is very careful and very good. I didn't feel much, and most of it was just dull pressure. Now I just have to go back about 3 more time. Yes, its alot. My mouth is quite bad and I hadn't been in about 4 or so years. I'm bad, but I didn't want to face the music.
I also need to go to the optometrist (eye doctor) as I have to sit quite near the front of the lecture halls as I can't see the slides clearly otherwise. Ben demostrated my poor vision when he pointed out that something that was quite blurry for me he could read clearly and easily.
I will try to go when I have time. But you all know how valuable a commodity time is, and how hard it is to find enough of it spare sufficiently far in advance to do something like that. I will try and do it in my break between the two semsters this year (in our shorter winter break during June).
Pip pip.

A painless trip to the dentist is a very very good thing. I am glad it went well.
Cool, I love the cool, I wish we were heading into the cool instead of summer. It is wonderful here right now though : )
Seeing is a good thing, listen to the boyfriend and get glasses. You know he has your best interest at heart.

I don't disagree with him. I know I need glasses, as my long-distance vision is pretty bad (I'm a little worried if this affects my ability to drive, though I am certain that the problem is not that bad). But like I said, I haven't really got the time at the moment, and it seems easier for the time being to do the simple things like sitting at the front of the lecture hall.
Plus, that has the added bonus of being away from the people who sit up the back and chat a lot. I'm right within eyeline of the lecturer, which helps me keep on task.
Having said that, I will go and get my eyes tested. If I do indeed need glasses, I'm also a little worried about the cost. I am a fairly poor student, and since I have to pay for my dental work at the moment (my health insurance doesn't cover dental), it might a little while before I can afford them so that I can save enough.
Today is milder temperatures again. Ben had his a/c on last night, but I made him turn it off as I didn't think it was necessary, and I feel bad for all the polar bears that are dying because their icecaps are melting due to the carbon emissions trapping in the extra heat. I made him open the window instead and it was fine. Not even cold (which, despite all my moaning, I was kind of hoping for).

Ben got ac ! Now I feel better, last I heard he did not have it and you know how I dislike the heat. I actually try to use the ac as little as possible, it is not hot right now but it is humid as we have storms moving in. I would like the ac on to keep put the humidity but alas, I have concerns for the polar bears as well. I also consider our electric bill ! I have the door open.
O K you can wait a little for the glasses, be careful driving and you can still sit in the front of the lecture hall when you get glasses you know.
As you cool off, we warm up. You are right, if I ever got to Australia it would need to be in June, I could not take the Aussie heat ! Better to watch all of the wonderful things about your homeland in air conditioned comfort on t.v. than to go in the hot months. It is sad it is so far.

HI KARA!! So nice to have you back again!!
Sorry, I've not been messaging as much as I want to. Things are pretty crazy, and I don't have much time to even check my email.
Speaking fo the dentist, I just got back from an appointment. Two weeks ago I had a root canal done, and today they put a temporary cap on top, and in another two weels I'll get the actualy crown. Fun fun! Heh... not really. But my dentist is amusing, actually. He's kind of... well, odd.
By small dogs I do not mean Wy Wy. I mean like little chihuahuas(sp?) or little terriers or corgis or pomeranians or something. They're really small and I just like bigger dogs that I can cuddle with. Wy Wy is basically the perfect medium size. The only small dog I actually like is a pug. They're just cute, and funny. But I consider Wy a medium sized dog, like a Basitt Hound or a Beagle and I like those kidn of dogs. Those are two of my favorites actually, and my other favorite are Alaskan Huskies.
It's been cool her the past few days. Yeserday is was very overcast and it rained early in the morning. Today is wasn't as overcast but still really cool. Which is realy nice. I hate the hot weather.
So, Speech Meet! My team won second place in our division! It was alot of fun and our entire school won second place in Sweep Stakes! We all had a blast, and it was a good fun. What's really cool, though, is the college where the competition was held is the college that is on the top of my list to apply far. It's called Vanguard University. And what's even better isthat junior and senior students who won second or first place and are planning on applying to the college automatically get a four thousand dollar scholarship of they plan to join the forensics team, which is like a speech/debate team. So If I go again next year, and win second or first place again, I'll have atumoatic scholarship money, because I do want to join the forensics team. It's so cool!
So yeah, that's my story for the day. :D
It's great to see you again Kara. I'm so glad you're back!

Corgis are wonderful little dogs and are true working stock dogs. That is what we were looking for when Wy found us. Yappers are Yorkie and Chihuahuas but I think all dogs and all sizes have there place. My sister had a Chihuahua named fang that was a really cool dog. I myself like a medium size that can go with you and sit with you but that is still a tough little dog. Bassets are big dogs with short legs.
Wy is in her own category, the perfect dog category.
Congratulations on your speech meet. I can imagine that you had a very good time. Forensics team, that is an odd name for a speech debate sort of thing.
It is good indeed to have both of you back and Oogy still here. Lilbro lives ! I hope we can keep that way this time : )
