Toys r Us advertised Mario Kart Wii in store on on April 27. I had read that the release date was April the 28th.
It has some really nice new features including, if I understand it right, it's own channel on Wii. It also has motorcycles this time and NO snaking, a fact that I like very much. I hope you get it and perhaps if I can in fact play online with the satellite internet connection we might try a race. I am prepared to be beaten soundly but it would be fun. Sadly the site for Wild Blue says real time online gaming not recommended. I will just have to see. Updates and such on the Wii are now seconds instead of 2 hours and I have downloaded one game and it was very quick. It is astounding to me after having nothing ever but dial up until now ! I can watch gaming videos and everything. : )

Less than a month away then, huh? I'll have to think about it, but that does seem like it would be a fun game to add to my collection. I would think with satelite internet, you would be able to play online games.

Oh I do hope you are right about the gaming, this Mario Kart game ( and I like Kart games in general ) sees to be a very good game. Games are so expensive I like to get games with good replay value, that can surely be said of all the Kart games so far. It comes with one of those little steering wheels and I was surprised to see that it is still $49.00. I am going to pre-order a game today hopefully. I think I may check and see how much a second steering wheel would cost but you can play with just the Wii mote.

I will let you know when the necklace arrives, it should not take long since we are close.

Yes it was quick and I do love it. It will be worn most of the time. It is more delicate/lighter than I expected and I like it more than I thought I would ! Very nice indeed.

what a lazy day, we have been reading and resting -- that is very nice every now then. We did get a few things done this morning, it is so beautiful outside.
