I've had requests for a few other colors too, so I plan to make them tonight I think after I eat. I spent most of the day at work bending the nails. I got a box of 500 nails in with the supplies I ordered, so I have quite a few here lol.
I do enjoy making them, but I normally have to have something else going on too. Like I'll be watching tv or listening to music... or at work lol. It gives my hands something to do while I'm doing that other stuff though(sometimes I juggle just to have something for my hands to do hehe).
Anyway, I'll let you know once I've finished the cross. It'll probably be tomorrow before it's completed, because I'll have to let the coating dry overnight then put the cord through for the neck tomorrow.

I will have HR take care of it since I have never used paypal. Does the $7.50 include shipping ? There is no hurry Oogy but we will go ahead and get you paid. take your time and don't make a special trip to the post office. I can wait : )
That is a lot of horseshoe nails ! You must expect to sell a lot of them. I know what you mean about needing to be doing something else, I knit if I actually decide to watch t.v. I am always doing something even here at the computer since we still have dial up :( The good news is we have finally decided to get a satellite internet connection -- we know it has some lag time and weather is a factor but we have to turn the computers off if it is stormy anyway or else the modems can get fried ! Our friends and closest neighbors just got it and they are very happy. We are soooooo tired of dial up !

We'll say $8.00 includes s&h, because I think I will be able to mail it in a regular envelope. I actually took a nap last night and ended up not waking up til this morning so I didn't make any necklaces last night lol, made a bunch tonight though(one is black), and they are currently drying, so I'll finish tomorrow, or maybe finish some on Thursday since I plan on going to church tomorrow

Hopefully it won't be long before you can tell the people that see your necklace to go to my website and order from there. I need to find a way to get a good picture, and figure out the best way to let the customer choose the color. Once I get it all figured out, I'll put it up on my website.

Sounds good to me. It will be nice for you to have them on your website but it seems you are selling them quite rapidly as it is : )

I guess I should email you my mailing address, we have a new one, the post office has actually numbered our roads and stuff, I can not remember it, we have had the other one for so long but I will get my note to self and send you the address.
Our mail people are not delicate -- you might ought to use one of those heavier mailing envelopes. I would hate for them to damage it. I get them at WM for a few cents each. I add a layer of bubble wrap if necessary, that way it is light and does not add to the postage cost.
Are you still not tired of making them ? It sounds like they are going to sell really fast. I got some horse shoe nails and I am going to have a go at making myself one of my own design. I have been making things like that for years and I think I would like to make one, I rarely make the same thing twice though. I have something a little less heavy looking in mind. My work bench has a small vise and I have all the tools -- it should be fun to try.

Yeah, I hadn't watched the weather at all, so I was taken by surprise when it started snowing. It was pretty cold today which kinda surprised me(but that wasn't that unusual for Oklahoma lol) Then it started raining... then the rain turned to sleet, and gradually faded to snow. Then I forgot about it for a while, and the next time I looked outside there was at least 4 inches of snow on the ground lol.
There's probably at least 6 maybe more now, and it's still coming down. It's a pretty heavy snow considering this is the first snow I've seen this year. Normally we get little flurries that don't stick, I think we may have gotten one of those one day that only lasted like half an hour while I was at work, but other than that, this is the first snow we've gotten here this winter.
I'm having trouble sleeping tonight, so it was nice to be able to go take a walk in the snow(and it doesn't even really feel that cold outside). I even took a notebook and sat on a bench out in the snow and wrote for a little while. That's something I hadn't done much of in a while, and it felt good(even though i don't like writing by hand).

I have wondered if you still do any writing, I miss that and I still wonder about the stories that you posted parts of. I hope you will share your writings again some day.
The snow was beautiful but it is almost all melted as it is quite warm today.
A late night walk in the snow sounds lovely, and I agree it was not all that cold. that sort of a setting should certainly inspire the creative side of anyone.
Oddly enough I have had trouble sleeping the last 2 nights, It surely does make you tired the next day. I have had a busy day, perhaps I will sleep better tonight.
