Wow JJ it is wonderful to see a post from you, I am sooooooooooooooooooo happy when someone else post but no matter I will be here. I do love Lilbro.

See it is a good thing that you posted, you had not told me about the concert in email and it sounds like you had a really good time. I have never heard Switchfoot, maybe I should check them out. What are some of their songs.

I know that you are very busy JJ and I understand that you do not always even have time for email not to mention posting ! I will be very very happy to see a post from you anytime you have the time however.

How is the play going, are you still enjoying it as much as you were.

Maybe when you read Inkheart we can talk about it here. Someone else might get interested in the book.

Oogy is working two jobs now but I hope he will have some time to post because I very curious about how is T shirt business is going. You should look at his site.

Thanks for posting JJ, it was such a surprise.

School tomorrow -- that is not as much fun as vacation time. I found it hard to get back to work today.

Another very warm January day in Oklahoma, it does not seem right but since we missed all the storms last night I will not complain, there was quite a few tornadoes close. 70 degrees plus in January is just odd, 4 days in a row now. Oh well, it is rather pleasant.

Tornados. Yikes! That's not something you really have to worry about in S. Cal. More like earthquakes. But even then we don't get them very often. And of course, fires is something you have to worry about becaus eit's so dry. And we do get them often.

I guess I never really told you much about the Youth Convention, did I? I'll have to do that later!! It was awesome! And we all had a really great time! Except the sleeping arrangements. The convention was out of town, so we were staying with a family that attended a local church. The church was giving housing to lots of people. What's funny is us girls slept on the floor mostly, a couple on the couches. Which weren't much better. But the guys in our youth group, who were staying at a seperate house, got beds to sleep on! And We were supposed to be up by 6:30, and out by 7:30. Which is ridiculous for us because we have about 7 girls who all need showers. And most girls take forever to get ready.(haha, I was the first ready, and within ten minutes. Sleeping bag rolled up and everything packed away. Of course I had taken a shower the night before :P) But the people the guys were staying with said "Don't get up early. You can sleep in and we'll make you pancakes.!" But they ended up getting up early anyways. And the people we stayed with were really nice. The father of the family, ended buying as all chocolate, which was really sweet. He was like "Oh, I bought you all chocolate bars!" It was so nice!

The first morning we were meeting the guys at the park for breakfast, but our entire car, consisting of me, my sister, her brest friend and one of our leaders, Ramsy, deicded we had to have coffee. We had a horrible night. The service hadn't gotten out until like 11:30, and then we couldn't find our house, then we got a flat tire. Luckily one fo the guys in our group works at a car shop. Then we finally got home around 1. And then to sleep by 2. And then up by 6:30! So we definitely needed caffeine. So as we were driving past the park, the boys saw us and were waving and we just past right on by. They looked hilarious! The look on their faces like "Hey... what are they doing?" Haha. We had the biggest laugh!

We are fortunate, the storms all seem to miss us. We are blessed here in our little valley. We surely have storms but so far all of the really bad ones have missed us. I have noticed that tornadoes are showing up in places where they did not used to be common. The weather has been strange all over of late.

You did tell me you were going to the conference but you did not tell me much about it, see posting is good !
It sounds like you had a very good time, even if you did not get much sleep. You will always have good memories.

I am spoiled now to having you back at Lilbro, I am so glad that you are back.

You mentioned in email the other books you got for Christmas, that you were reading one from a series -- is it that one about the kids that had been used for experiments and the can fly. I read the first one but I can not remember the name. I am looking forward to talking about Inkheart -- I am really curious what you think -- you have such a good imagination -- the discussions should be interesting.

So how is it to be back in school and when is the play ?

I am so glad that JJ is posting again.

Jonah is traveling and now no one is posting on his site except me of course and we all know how stubborn I am. It makes me appreciate all the work he does there keeping topics going. You have to truly love a site to stay with it no matter what.

Thanks JJ, it is so nice to have some company here.

I should go, it is time to make coffee, I am just rambling on anyway.

Sounds like you had a lot of fun at the convention JJ, that's really cool. I do like Switchfoot, I'd bet they'd be really cool to see in concert. I've never been to a concert before, so I'm really looking forward to it. It's just going to be me, my sister, and hopefully one other person as far as I know. Casting Crowns is one of my favorite bands as well(apparently a lot of people think so, they won at the AMA).

I've been pretty busy, it's not too bad though, just don't have a lot of free time. The weather has been crazy like Les said. The past 3 days, I wore t-shirts and when I woke up this morning there was frost on my windshield.

Right now, I'm waiting for the maintenance to show up because my sink backed up and there is water everywhere... I'm gonna go ahead and get off and hope they show up soon.

I always stop by to read your posts, but don't always have time to post myself. I got up early today, so I figured I'd drop by and say hi :)

Everything is going well. I think I"m gonna get to go to a Casting Crowns concert in February, so I'm looking forward to that.

Other than that, everything is pretty much the same as before.

HOW DID THIS HAPPEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I missed this post --- I am so sorry Oogy -- Like everyone else I have been busy. HR hurt his back during this period and I was trying to do all of his stuff and mine as well. I am happy to say that he is better but it did make me realize how very much he does, I was exhausted :( He is still wearing his back brace but getting around quite well, not quite back to his old self but almost. He will need to wear the brace awhile as a precaution. I am so glad you are still coming by Oogy. I was afraid that with all you have so much going on you just did not have the time anymore.

I think it sounds wonderful for you and your sister to be going to the concert. I have never been to a large concert, only a few performances in smaller venues. I saw Marty Robbins years ago in a small dinner theater and it was such a thrill for me. I will never forget it.

I am so happy to have both of you post. It is my personal commitment to stay with Lilbro as long as Beau leaves it here and I know that the both of you are very busy people but it is such a huge pleasure when one of you post. I do not mind if it is only just hi. I am quite glad to know that you still come by to read the post Oogy.

Why don't you post the Cross your Tees web address -- I think JJ should see the sight, she might have some friends that would enjoy the shirts.

A very very good morning to all, I am so happy. REAL POST !!!!!!!!!

Well it is almost 5 a.m. and I need to wake HR up and put on the coffee. Yes JJ I get to go and grind coffee !

Thank you both so much. You are very incredible young people and I appreciate you both.

Actually, the book I'm reading right now(though Since i started school I haven't been able to read as much) is from the Alex Rider series. About a British schooboy who's a spy. They made a movie from the first book in 2006. And I have to say they followed the story fairly well. I was surprised. Though they did change some things, I liked it all the same. The Maximum Ride Series is the one your thinking of though. The third book has been realeased but I haven't had the chance to pick it up yet.

School is great. I have a new class this semester, since Health is a semester class, I'm now taking geography. The teacher is the same as my World History teacher from last year, so I'm pretty much used the the class. She's really nice, and we got along well last year. I usually get along well with my teachers. I'm not the kind of student that causes a ruckus. Other than that, my classes are still the same. Yesterday was my first day back to math class, and I must say, I feel truly out of place in that class. It's utterly ridiculous. We were going of the semester final that we had taken last semester, and For each math question he assigned someone to go to the board and work it out. Everyone else in the class, with the exception of me and one other girl, had trouble and had to have help. And these are simple algebraic equations. I'm no math genuis, but these are problems I knew how to do in 5th grade. And these people are struggling with them. I feel like an idiot in that class, because the main majority are the students that are slackers and the people who don't care about school, who don't bother doing work, and don't pay attention and don't know how to do anything. One of the kids (who drives me insane, because he's so rude, and disrespectful. The type that you know God wants you to lvoe them, but they just make it so hard), was having problems, and I was helping him, telling him the steps to take in solving the problem, and then he has the nerve to argue with me, telling me I'm wrong, when I know I'm right, and the teacher even said that I was. Argghh... I hate that class, simply because the students are so ridiculous. The teacher is a little strange, but I'm getting used to him now. And he appreciates the fact, that I don't really need to be in the class, but I have to anyway. And he knows I'm a good student, and I know what I'm doing. He treats me with respect, which is nice.

The play is going wonderfully! Were opening t the very beginning of next month, which is so soon, it's kind of scary. Next week we're starting running without scripts, which will be a little easier for me, because I can take notes a little better, and not have to follow along as much. I love working with the drama students. I've always enjoyed being in plays, but I love it even more to be a part of one as a director, rather than an actress. Though next year I'm hoping to be in whatever musical production we're doing, because, as you know, I love to sing. And the drama teacher, Mrs. Taylor, is constantly begging me to try out because she knows I have a strong voice and that's always helpful in musical productions. We're also doing a production of Pride and Prejudice, and I would really love to try out for that one. It's one of my favorite plays, and they did a performance of it when I was in 8th gradem and it was just wonderful! I can't wait to see who get's what part. :)But yeah, rehearsal is going well. WE always ahve a fun time and we have our laughs. There's a scene where one of the characters starts of the scene do a squirrel impersonation and it's the most hilarious thing! It's so hard not to laugh, because he does it so well!! He's an excellent actor! And the faces he makes are just so funny when he does the squirrel. I love it!

I would love to see your T-Shirt site, Oogy. I'm sure they great!

It was a lot of fun seeing Switchfoot in concert. They have awesome music, and I love it so much! And Casting Crowns, too! They have a little bit softer music, which is nice. I like all sorts of genres, from classical to jazz, to country, to hard rock. Music is one of my passions, and I enjoy lots of it. What's one of your favorite Casting Crowns song? Mine is Set Me Free I think. I like all of their songs, but I expecially like their album Lifesong. I haven't heard their new album yet, though. I didn't even know till today that they had one. I had to look up the name of the song, haha. I'm terrible with names. And I discovered the new album.

I do remember the stuff with math last year, I did miss your email, I only got to hear from you while you were in China ! I surely was glad when summer rolled around.

That is interesting about the class JJ, I am sure it is not your favorite part of the day but I do wonder if it is an opportunity to be a good example for some of the others in the class. I would imagine it is a blessing for the teacher to have a good student. Perhaps if even if you do not need the class some one else will need you. The Lord does work things out like that sometimes.

Working on the play sounds like so much fun, I do wish I could come : (

Yes that is the book I was remembering, I did not read the second one. That was an unusual story.

I was going to tell you about The Binding of the Blade seies of books. It is somewhat like Lord of the Rings in as much it is a big adventure with strange creatures and it even has dinosaurs, but it has a strong message of faith. HR and I both enjoyed the books. They are by LB Graham. I think your parents would like them too. It will be hard to wait for the last book due out in April. You never did read those books by Donita K . Paul did you. The first one is Dragonspell -- I absolutely loved it ! It si the most charming and endearing book I have read in a longtime. I know I have told you about it before but it is perfect for you. HR and Lisa love the books as well. There is 4 of them -- a must read in my opinion. There will be another one in2008. Here is the link :

http://www.dragonkeeper.us/

You really really really should read them. I liked them way way better that Eragon soooooo much better than Eldest.

It is so nice to check in on Lilbro and have people to talk to. I will leave the talk of the groups and the concerts to young folks. I do need to listen to some of the songs though and see what the groups sound
like !

JJ I have the link for Oogy's shirt site on my other computer, I will find it ! I think it is here on Lilbro -- maybe in Oogy's topic. I am pretty sure that is where I got it.

Goodnight for now folks, I must get things done, Stargate Atlantis is one tonight. It has not been new in quite awhile.

Good morning my busy friends, it is early and I have my dog, my cozy blanket, my laptop and a nice cup of
earl Grey tea. What shall we settle in and talk about ?

Oh Oogy I do wish you were playing Zack and Wiki, or are you by any chance playing it I should ask ? I am enjoying the game but I am very confused about the Frozen Temple Boss -- now that is a tricky puzzle and it keeps changing ! Usually I figure out the puzzles by restarting if I have a problem and getting them figured out a little at time. Some are fairly straight forward and you are not under pressure so those are just a nice little adventure. This one with Frost Breath has pressure ! I am sure I will get it but I would love to talk with someone about it.

JJ, I was wondering what kind of instant coffee you use? I have occasionally wished there was a good kind to take with us on trips.

Will all of the things that you do are either of you still writing, I did enjoy reading all of those things that you used to share.

I am definitely in the mood to spend and extended period in my craft room I have so many things on my mind that I want to do. That is about all of the excitement I am in the mood for right now. I feel the need for some alone time -- the holidays were sooooo busy and I am by nature a fairly solitary person.

I am going to answer some email now and finish my tea.

Good morning to you both.
